For the past few months I’ve been struggling to find relationships in the town I live in. Being on the road for a lot of the year, and only having one car (that my wife and I share) makes for meeting people tough, to say the least. Don’t get me wrong, I have good friends scattered all over the country, but I don’t get to see them as much as I like. This is something I’m trying to change because relationships are important.
Because the creation process begs for us to be in relationships.
When we let someone into our life, we give them the opportunity to learn from us and them from us. As a designer and story teller it allows you to learn from your experiences and communicate your experiences clearly to others.
Relationships are messy. They force us out of our comfort zone. When we invite others into our life, we allow ourselves to be vulnerable. We open up an entire world of unexplored experiences.
So how important our relationships to you? Do you think they are a necessity to the creation process? Leave your comments below.
